Caregiver Selection Process:

Experience: We only hire caregivers who have at least 2 years of prior experience caring for the elderly, and they must provide at least 5 references.

Responsible: We do comprehensive criminal background checks through the federal government.

Reliable Transportation: We do comprehensive DMV record and insurance checks.

Bonded and Insured: All of our caregivers are bonded and insured through agency.

Training: All of our caregivers receive explicit instructions from our Staffing Department based upon client requests. We also provide ongoing training based on company standards and procedures, and caregivers are updated bi-weekly.

Family Communication: We try to communicate supportive information to family members and close contacts in order to inform them of a patient’s progress.

Non-smokers: All of our caregivers are non-smokers.

Caring Attitudes: All of our caregivers are truly passionate about their work and enjoy helping others.

Employed Caregivers: All of our caregivers are our employees. We do not “Independently Contract” our caregivers. Therefore, we pay for all of our caregivers’ payroll taxes, insurance, benefits, and worker’s compensation. Note: if a caregiver is not considered an employee by an agency, then they are an "Independent Contractor" and considered an employee of the client. In this case, the client is responsible for paying the caregiver’s insurance, payroll taxes, and worker’s compensation. However, as all of our caregivers are employees of our agency, we take care of these extra costs.
